Music concert coming up next week!!! The kids and I are so excited for it! We have been rehearsing all week and it has been a blast. 1 more week until spring break, we can make it!

Friday, March 24 is the last day of classes before Spring Break.  Classes will resume on Monday, April 3.  

After Spring Break, there is no school on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10.

 Important notices:  

A reminder to book for our in-person Celebration of Student Learning for our Grades 1-5 on March 9 from 5pm to 8 pm & March 10 from 9am to 1pm or for Kindergarten interviews.  Bookings can be done through your MyCBE account. If you need help with this, please call 403.777.6030 or email dalhousie@cbe.ab.ca.  Bookings will close on March 8 at 4pm, after which time please call the school.  Families are encouraged to bring a donation for our food drive, which will wrap up March 10.

At the same time, you can attend our Scholastic Book Fair in person.  Even if you can't join us in the school, you can experience the joy of our Book Fair online by visiting our Virtual Book Fair Extension. Virtual shopping can be done March 3-13 inclusive!

Please see the separate email sent regarding our Celebration of Learning & Book Fair on March 9 & 10 and how to book for it.   A reminder that Thursday, March 9 is a full day of school and that there is no school for all students on March 10.

 

We are continuing our Food Drive for Kindness Month.  All donations are gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at the donation boxes at either the front or the back door.

 

Volunteer opportunities are available for each class.  You must have a valid CBE volunteer clearance at the time you sign up and we ask that you sign up for two opportunities per class to allow for as many people as possible to participate.  If you would like to volunteer more, please check with the teacher.    More details can be found in the separate email that was sent out.

 

Our Spring Concert will be held on March 22 & 23 at 6:30pm.  You can see which classes perform when as well as the costume preparation in when in the separate emails that were sent out.   You can also check the class blogs for information.
